*POSTPONED*

What is the point of preaching if no-one can hear what you say? Having intelligible voices should be the Number 1 priority for auditoriums (meaning, places people assemble to hear). Yet most churches and large auditoriums have lousy acoustics where sitting in the wrong place means you just can’t hear speech clearly. This presentation explains how to improve vocal acoustics in large spaces and existing structures, and at the same time enrich audiences’ experiences. The speakers will show how to design from the ground up, and how new construction methods and devices can resolve common acoustic problems that come up time and time again.
